Of course, almost every dictator that has ruled a country under Communism has done so infamously. This has ruined the reputation of Communism, but with this article, I attempting to show that the fundamental idea of it is great.
The reason it never succeeds is because of our major flaw as humans… selfishness. Communism is a socioeconomic structure that is based on people working as one unit, and sharing everything. It is very difficult and nearly impossible for Communism to function properly, requiring everyone’s participation. But, if this is achieved, the benefits are huge.
Imagine a whole society, a whole human race, working as one for the same goal. The best example of this could be seen in the
Dark Knight article with the squirrel example. The Achille’s heel of Communism, is that the dictator that rules under it, is selfish. He takes the benefit of the whole society and uses it for himself, impoverishing the nation. Simply put, the power and ability to do this corrupts him. Eventually the nation becomes fed up with it, rebels, a few deaths here, a few there and whalah… capitalism is born, a socioeconomic structure where everyone can be selfish. And that is why most of the world today operates under capitalism.

Communism isn’t bad if the whole society/country/nation is RICH. for instance Cuba, wow that is such a great communist country…only cuz it is rich. But then again…for other countries that are poor yet have a communist gov. ie: Vietnam (my own country, love it but i hate the government and it’s structures) it is a disaster. If everyone is poor, how can the nation become successful under communism? It just wouldn’t work.
in addition i agree with the reason that some dictators are greedy, corrupting the communist gov.
